Pleasantville

Pleasantville, NY is the community in which I have run my custom picture framing business for the past 14 years.  During that time, I’ve always tried to think of ways to effectively communicate with the community around us. Developments in technology have given organizations and individuals new opportunities as well as new challenges.

When it comes to social media technology, is Pleasantville, NY on the right track?

Recently, I’ve been trying to help connect the Pleasantville community through the use of  the free online micro-blogging service called Twitter. You can also follow me on my Cornell140 account, where I post a wide range of things — including social media topics, Cornell Gallery news and my other activities and interests. I follow many Westchester individuals and organizations with my Cornell140 account, and scores of other interesting people from around the country and beyond.

Most of the progress that I’ve seen occur in this new technology over the past few months has been the result of individuals and organizations working cooperatively.
